Privacy by Architecture

Unlike traditional online editors, DataDesk does not have a "backend" that sees your files. All data manipulation happens in your browser's local memory (RAM).

1. No Data Collection

When you use our CSV Editor, JSON Converter, or XLSX tools, we do not upload, store, or transmit your file content to any server. All file processing is performed locally on your device using client-side JavaScript.

2. Cookies and Analytics

To improve the user experience and monitor site performance, we may use basic analytics tools. These tools:

  • Do not record the contents of your data files.
  • Collect anonymous technical data (e.g., browser type, page views).
  • Help us identify and fix bugs in our conversion engines.

3. Local Storage

DataDesk may use your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage to temporarily store your preferences (such as theme settings or table view options). This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser cache.

4. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

5. Contacting Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please use our Contact Form on the homepage.
